Lynn Sear

Lynn was a woman who cared about her son and got very worryed when he told her that he saw dead people. we don't have much details about this character but we get to like her from the beginning.

Toni Collette

Biography
Toni Collette is an Academy Award-nominated Australian actress best known for her roles in The Sixth Sense (1999) and Little Miss Sunshine(2006).She was born on November 1, 1972, in Blacktown, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She is the first of three children born to Bob Collette, a truck driver, and Judy Collette, a customer service representative. From age 6 she was brought up in suburban Sydney. At the age of 11 she showed her phenomenal acting skills when she faked appendicitis out of boredom and longing for attention; her act was so convincing that doctors had to remove her appendix, even though the test showed nothing wrong with it.

Dr. Malcolm Crowe

As I already said Dr. Malcolm is a psycologist who was murdered by an instable pacient. However he doesn't know he's dead and he only finds out in the end of the movie. In between he makes friends with Cole, the little boy who sees ghosts, and helps him not to be scared.

Bruce Willis
Biography
Bruce Willis grew up mainly in Penns Grove, New Jersey, and graduated from high school there before going to New York to become an actor. He waited tables and tended bar for a living until he began to get roles in plays. While tending bar one night he was seen by a casting director who liked his personality and needed a bartender for a small movie role.

Cole Sear

This is the main character of the movie. He's a kid who discovers he sees dead people and that, obviously gets frightened by it. Once he understands that the ghosts only need help he starts to talk to them and aiming them. That's when he meets Dr. Malcolm Crowe, a psycologist murdered by a pacient, who turns out to be a great friend.

Haley Joel Osment
Biography
American child actor who has proven himself perhaps the best young actor of his generation. The son of actor Eugene Osment and teacher Theresa Osment, Haley was chosen for a commercial at age four after a casting director spotted him in a furniture store with his parents. Within months, he had landed a small but memorable role as Tom Hanks's son in Forrest Gump (1994). However, it took the smash hit The Sixth Sense(1999) to bring the young actor to the public's eye. His devastating performance as the haunted Cole Sear brought him an Oscar nomination at age 11 and a memorable tribute at the awards from winner Michael Caine: "Once I learned of your nomination and saw your performance, I knew for sure you would win." Along with bravura performances, he has developed an equal reputation in the industry for unspoiled professionalism.

Many people still remember this line from the movie "The Sixth Sense". On this blog I'll be talking about every aspect of this brilliant movie which is one of my personal favourites.
